DEVOTION: "And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go."(John 11:44)

"And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go."(John 11:44)

"Loose him and let him go"  Lazarus was a friend of Jesus but he died. Just because you're a Christian doesn't mean that you are immune to the obvious challenges that are on planet earth. We can be very blessed but we still face things that try us on the path of faith. As the story goes, Lazarus dies, his body is prepared for the burial, he is put in the tomb and it is sealed by a huge rock. Although the circumstances were very bleak for about 4 days, Jesus showed up and called him forth from the grave. His voice spoke life into death, light into darkness, Jesus changes things in our lives! The four days that Lazarus was in the grave caused a tremendous amount of grief and sadness in the family. Although Lazarus was in a time of darkness and death, he was protected from the elements by his "graveclothes", something that appeared permanent was actually temporary. A "Temporary Necessity" due to the temporary circumstances, he needed the proper protection while in this situation. We all get in situations that are not fun, not exciting, emotionally draining, spiritually challenging and seemingly hopeless but they are temporary. If you are not completely aware of what is going on, just be still and wait on God to call you out into the light.  "Be still,  and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."(Psalm 46:10)
God has promised us that His sheep know His voice, so be still until  you hear Him call you out of your present circumstances, God doesn't forsake His children. When we are going through a spiritual shift we sometimes feel as if we are all alone in the grave but He has covered us in the protective gear because they are necessary for the moment.  Our problem is, we humans get attached to things and when we go through a time of detachment, we are very uncomfortable. We may not need some of the baggage that we have for our next Divine Destiny moment. Divine Detachment is not fun but a temporary necessity to get us ready for our next mission.  Let go of what you don't need so you can receive what you do need. Let it Go!!
