DEVOTION: "Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession."(Psalm 2:8)

"Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession."(Psalm 2:8)

"Ask of Me"    Father, Give us the nations! The fields are white unto harvest, let us be the labor force that goes into the field of the world and brings the nations into Your Kingdom!!  Oh, Lord God, we hunger to see a movement of the Holy Spirit in the earth like the world has never seen, a sweeping move of the Hand of the Almighty God. I come before You, My Lord, with a repentant heart, broken over my sinful fresh, my pride, my lack of gracefulness, unthankful and unholy in Your sight. I ask You to forgive me of my sin and fill me with fresh mercy and grace from Heaven. In the prayer verse for today, You said ask and You would give the nations for our inheritance and the earth for our possession. God, please make something happen, shake something loose, we won't stop praying until You  do. We, the people, need You to step into our natural with  Your  supernatural today, right now at this moment!! We are obeying Your Word in this Prayer Psalm, "Give us the Nations" as our possession. We claim Your Word as a promise fulfilled in our lives and we believe that You  are going to shake the nations with your Spirit.    "The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake:  but the LORD will be the hope of His people, and the strength of the children of Israel."(Joel 3:16). Let the earth shake, let the mountains shake but God is our Hope!! No matter what, God is our Hope, Power, Peace and Provider!! We declare that You are yet able to deliver Your  people and our nation from any darkness or captivity in the Name of Jesus Christ the Lord!     "Thus saith the LORD to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden,  to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; "(Isaiah 45:1)  You have promised to go before before us, defeat the enemy and open great doors of opportunity for those who ask.  We ask today, please, make something happen today that we will never forget and we will never be the same again, In Jesus Name, AMEN!!!!

DEVOTION:"This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee."(Deuteronomy 2:25)

"This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee."(Deuteronomy 2:25)

"This Day will I Begin” Today God places His awesome power on me that protects me from all enemies, spiritual, emotional, physical, financial and every other kind!!  I'm in agreement with Moses, the Man of God that God has placed a spirit of intimidation on all nations that hear about the Blessings of God in my life. Moses even said they would tremble when they hear about me. Jeremiah the Prophet said the same thing about the goodness of God placed upon His people that it would cause those that hear about it to tremble.
"And it shall be to me a name of joy, praise and an honor before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it."(Jeremiah 33:9). The Blessing of God  in ones life is a powerful thing, it will shake your enemy and cause them to tremble.
If we are going to change the world, we must realize the mighty power of God. He holds the earth in the palm of His hand and can turn the king’s heart any way He chooses. If we had the confidence that God desires us to have, we would never fear again! We are the intimidators of the earth not the intimidated!!    "The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will."(Proverbs 21:1).  God's supernatural power in and on us will completely change our lives on a day to day basis. It will cause us to stand up straight and our enemies to run.     "The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways."(Deuteronomy 28:7)   Quit slumping over due to fear and feeling inferior to others.  You are an anointed child of God, stand up straight, fear nothing and believe that you can accomplish anything with God's power in your life. By the Spirit of God that rest upon us, we are world changers,  IT IS WHAT IT IS!!

VIDEO: So Shall It Be

DEVOTION: "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."(Jeremiah 1:5)

"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."(Jeremiah 1:5)

"Prophet unto the nations". What are You? What defines your life? Who are you, really? Do you have a purpose, a calling, a burden from the Lord? Does your passion keep you up nights while others sleep, does it burn like a fire in your bones? "But His word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones,"(Jeremiah 20:9). Jeremiah was a man ordained in his mothers womb to preach the Word of God to a group of rebellious people that didn't listen and was thrown in prison for his preaching yet he couldn't stop. There are thousands in prison today for their faith in Jesus Christ and a Christian is killed every 3 minutes of every 24 hour day simply because they believe that Jesus is the Son of God!! A true man of God, no matter what, will always preach the truth of God's Word. He may be criticized, lied on, made fun of, imprisoned or even martyred but he will continue to preach because of the fire in his bones placed there by God Himself. I remember well the moment God called me to preach, He and I discussed it for 7 months. I gave Him all the reasons that I shouldn't, couldn't and quite frankly wouldn't be a preacher but He prevailed in my spirit. Now, 30 years later, I'm always thrilled at the endless possibilities that are created in the atmosphere of an anointed Gospel sermon! Jesus Christ said that the fields are white unto harvest but the labourers are few. "Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."(Matthew 9:37-38) Someone reading this may be hearing the Voice of God calling you into the ministry of preaching the Gospel. There are now over 7 billion people on this planet we call earth and they need to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If God is calling you to preach the message of salvation, surrendering to that call today will bring you a peace and satisfaction that money can't buy. When you preach the Gospel you have an affect on the eternal destiny of mankind, nothing is greater!!

DEVOTION: "The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect."(Psalms 33:10)

"The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect."(Psalms 33:10)

"The heathen to nought” The Hebrew word for heathen here is our word for nations. I'm very aware that the nations of the world are in chaos and turmoil to the point of wars on every hand. Jesus Christ prophesied that in the last days there would be wars and rumors of wars. In other words, if we are not fighting, we are talking about going to war with someone. I'm a Preacher of Hope, I try to avoid bringing people down but the truth is the truth and according the bible there are several more world wars to be fought. There will be some major conflicts during the 7 year tribulation period (Jacob's Trouble) and then the Mac-daddy of all wars-Armageddon!! Don't worry, if you’re saved, you will be at the Judgment seat of Christ and The Marriage Supper of The Lamb during the tribulation period. It is a time when God's Wrath is poured out on earth to align the nations and bring Israel back to God. This 7 year period will begin when the church is caught away to meet Jesus in the air. All of the stories you see on the news about the world system being in chaos is just the fulfillment of the prophetic Scriptures about the lining up of the nations for the end of time as we know it now, but we still have a job to do for Jesus!!! We are to warn every man of the pending Judgment of God in eternity without Christ.
"Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus :" (Colossians 1:28)
In order to present Christ correctly, we must preach hope through the Grace of God!! The message of Hope is what the Gospel (Good News) is all about; Paul refers to it as "Christ in You, the Hope of Glory". (Colossians 1:27) Please don't be too concerned about what is going on in the world political arena because God Himself will bring it all to naught, bring it to a halt at The Battle of Armageddon then the Prince of Peace will rule the world on the throne of David in Israel. This earthly Kingdom of Christ will last for a thousand years and all men of all nations will be subject to Christ. Just keep serving Jesus every day, walking in love, peace and hope, God will take care of the rest.

DEVOTION:"Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom He hath chosen for His own inheritance."(Psalm 33:12)

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom He hath chosen for His own inheritance."(Psalm 33:12)

"Blessed"  The word "Blessed" in this passage means "Happy" in the Hebrew dictionary. In order to maintain the "Happy Life", we need to worship God. In a perfect world, our entire nation would worship God in unison. We have a lot of stress and unhappiness in the USA because as a nation we are slowly drifting from God being our Lord!  Our nation was founded upon the premises of Christian principles and religious freedom.  The founders of our great nation were not perfect but being led by God, they set up the guidelines for a great country with freedoms that allow us to worship  freely. As with all things, human nature is dependable to abuse freedoms and that is the reason for laws. Life continues, one generation passes off the scene, then comes another that amends or changes the last generations laws and slowly the foundation upon which we rest begins to deteriorate. The one unchanging factor that we all have at our disposal is the unchanging Word of God. We must begin to take responsibility for our nation by electing leaders that represent our Christian values and not their personal agendas.  We are slowly becoming a country that is controlled by personal interest groups, in other words, we vote you in but then you owe us!! Then the leadership starts paying off their obligations in congressional funding for "brother-in-law" projects. These projects pay high salaries to groups of people who do absolutely nothing to increase the quality of life for anyone but themselves. After a few years of this type of mentality, it becomes the norm, so by this time some leaders have lost their ethics and only care about the money that is deposited in their bank accounts. The next step in this type of deterioration is to be so blind as to think that the money will never run out. The government itself lives off of tax dollars collected from the working man, business owners and people that actually produce revenue rather than live off someone else's money. The more any government takes over the day to day life of its people, the farther away from center we slide as a nation. When the government runs the people rather than the people running the government, it always fails,it always has. Our hope is in God being our Lord and it is our responsibility to give much prayer to the future of our country. We must not take our Blessings for granted but be on the offense to promote Godly government rather than the defense against one that has failed. Let's stay Blessed by keeping God in our government.

DEVOTION: "For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake."(2 Corinthians 4:5)

"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake."(2 Corinthians 4:5)
"Christ Jesus The Lord". Jesus is our Savior and Lord!! If we preach anything else we are not preaching the Gospel of the Grace of God.   "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ."(John 1:17)
Jesus Christ bridged the gap between us and God the Father. Without Jesus, we would never receive forgiveness from our sins and we would never see "The Pearly Gates".  "But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ."(Ephesians 2:13)  By the Blood of Jesus I am close to the Father, I am no longer drifting, tossed to and fro on planet earth but I have a purpose in the Kingdom of God!!!  We preach Jesus, not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord!! He can be your Savior today, just call His Name and He will become your Lord! Today is the Day of Salvation.
Pray this prayer today;  "Dear Heavenly Father, I believe that your Son Jesus Christ died to save me! Please forgive me of my sins and send your Holy Spirit to indwell, seal and fill me right now, IN JESUS NAME-AMEN!!

DEVOTION: "That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes."(Isaiah 65:16)

"That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten,  and because they are hid from mine eyes."(Isaiah 65:16)

"Troubles are Forgotten"   I'm going to join Isaiah in saying "I'm Blessed" and my "Troubles are Forgotten"!  If you live on earth long enough, you will go through some kind of trouble. The key to victory is learning to minimize the damage done in your life. Scars are better than wounds because wounds are still not healed, scars are the evidence that you have been THROUGH something but its over.  I'm going to "Bless Myself" by saying I am blessed and by trying to forget my troubles by constantly asking Jesus to heal me.  My wife and I got in the habit of giving one another a high-five and saying "I'm over it". Some troubles obviously are more painful than others so some take longer to get over but at least be aware that there is always Hope in God.   "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,  that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost."(Romans 15:13) God wants us to overflow with hope which in return will keep us at peace. We are living in a high stress society that's bound and determined to stress you, depress you or oppress you in some way. Saul's daughter, Michal,  was mad at David because he was happy over the Presence of God in Mt Zion. Some people are not happy untill you are as unhappy as they are and then they will be happy that we are all unhappy together!!  One of my favorite quotes is, "Show me your friends and I'll show you your future", that's why Isaiah says to bless yourself, forget your former troubles and realize He will hide your troubles from your eyes. My grandson, William, loves to play hide and seek but this is hide and do not even remember, much less seek. They are gone, hidden from our eyes and we are blessed! That's God's final word on the matter, AMEN !  Have a Blessed Day.

DEVOTION: "Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that He will yet deliver us; Ye also helping together by prayer for us; "(11 Corinthians 1:10-11)

"Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver:  in whom we trust that He will yet deliver us;  Ye also helping together by prayer for us; "(11 Corinthians 1:10-11)

"Helping together by Prayer". In God's Kingdom, we are one big family by the Blood of Jesus!!  We help one another in many ways but one of the most effective ways we help one another is by prayer!! The church family that my wife and I lead is called, "God's House", located in Philadelphia, MS-USA. It's reach is international by way of Moonbeam's camera or cameras, our sermons and worship services are now in 100 countries. (Moonbeam is our media director- Moonbeam Media Ministries) Our church's camera has become a permanent fixture in our church services and through it we are developing relationships that have no geographical boundaries. I received a prayer request from a young lady in a third world country that had been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis  but no way to get treatment. We prayed and here is a portion of her next email to our ministry;   "Thank you, precious saints,  who have fervently uplifted me in prayer...This is to the glory of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ...I've been away from home for the last twelve days wrt my blood tests and such..Im overwhelmed with what God can do, i ran twelve blood tests , sme routine and others ,and two nerve tests, im overjoyed to say, that while i still await a major blood test, i believe in Jesus ' name that this will also be clear, as all the eleven tests and the nerve tests have been normal and clear..Praise Jesus' , how wonderfully He took care of the entire situation amidst my moments of anxiousness and fear, yet His word and the prayers and encouragement of everyone including you blessed me all tru this ordeal..."
(This email is copied exactly as I received it)  I thanked the Lord for His mercy and His miracle in her life, then I became very aware in my spirit that our church family and my personal family has been under heavy attack from satan in more ways than I care to discuss publicly. So I asked this precious young lady to pray for us that God would honor her faith and bring healing to our ever growing ministry family. Below is her response to my request for her to pray for us;  " Def, bro Scott and sis Kari...... Father in the name of Your son Jesus, i uplift bro Scott and sis Kari and their whole family Lord into Your holy hands, i ask n pray Your healing touch will flow through their bodies right from the crown of their heads to the soles of their feet, that every organ Lord will function in the perfection to which you created it to function and You will restore them to complete health and wholeness, mind, body and soul...Let Your perfect will be done,i pray Your mercy, grace, compassion and love will continue to be upon them ,and uphold them during this time..Thankyou Jesus, that we serve a prayer answering God and we say of the Lord You are Our Healer, Our Deliverer,Our All Sufficiency, all to Your Glory Precious Lord, in Jesus' name...Amen and Amen !..........bless you and urs muchly, will continue to keep ya'll in prayer....Do keep me posted...  (copied exactly as I received it) God healed her of MS, He can heal us of whatever we are being attacked by!!

DEVOTION: ‎"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."(James 4:14)

‎"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."(James 4:14)

"Life is a Vapour" It doesn't matter how good you are, how good of a handle you have on life or how accomplished you are, it can come crashing down around you. A "Life Crash" is when you seem to do everything right but everything comes crashing down any way. We live on a sin cursed earth that is filled with death traps that we often step in without seeing them or having any idea that they even exist, much less that we are about to step in one. We all have "Why's" in our lives. The Bible answers most of them if you really search the scriptures. I preached a series of sermons that answered many of the why's in our lives but there are a few why's that come with the territory of living on a sin cursed earth that may never be answered here. In 11 Samuel 6:9, David asked God "How" can I get past this rather than "Why" did this instance occur. A friend, a leader in David's army had just died doing what David told him to do but David was a warrior and wanted to know "How" to win. Warriors cry later but today they fight!! When we get slapped in the face with a "Mysterious Trial", do like David, stop the band and ask "How" can we get past this hurdle in life"? It's human nature to ask why things happen and true enough, we need to learn from our yesterday's so we don't repeat any mistakes that we've made in our past. When one of David's men died stabilizing the Ark, David asked God, "How" can we move forward in spite of this issue. After three months David got his answer from God and completed his mission for the Kingdom of God. David was aware that life is a vapor and he didn't have forever to get the job done. We are not promised tomorrow, so whatever you are going to do, you need to be getting it done. I wouldn't waste my life with petty things, being dramatic or fleshly because this could be your last day on earth. Let's make it count for good, give the people you associate with something good to say after you are gone. Let's take another view of life, what if you are frustrated with someone over something petty, you wake up tomorrow and it's gone! Life is a vapor!!

VIDEO: I want to Dance!

DEVOTION: "Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus."(Philippians 3:12)

"Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus."(Philippians 3:12)

"True Colors" When Paul wrote this letter, he had been saved 30 years. He was very open about the fact that God was still working on him. He plainly states that he's not perfect but he's following after the Lord. He says he's been apprehended by Jesus but he hasn't got it all apprehended yet. We are all human and our buttons can still be pushed, even though we are the most spiritual person that we know. We are talented and gifted at one thing but first thing you know, because of your "greatness" at one thing, you assume that you are just flat out wonderful in every way. "NOT"!!! As a preacher of the word, a pastor, spiritual leader, etc.., it's part of my "job" to read people. It is my job to inspire you to go farther, to be better and to fulfill your purpose for God. A few people are aware that they are on a journey and use the sermons that the Lord gives me as road maps for their journey of faith. However, some are wonderful in EVERY way and like staying where they are, they don’t like the challenge of doing more, giving more and being more, so eventually one of the sermons will push their buttons. That special button that's “ off limits", when it gets pushed their mouths open and out come words that usually sting someone near by! It could be someone that loves you and has always been there for you, no matter what, but they have still pushed the button. Before you show your true colors, consider who or what has pushed your button. They may have your best interest at heart! "He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls."(Proverbs 25:28). True colors can be embarrassing and damage your Christian testimony, so it's best to keep them to yourself. Just talk to Jesus and He will re-paint the dark rooms of your life!! If you can't get control of your wonderful life, it will come crashing down. Don't allow your "off limits areas" to ruin how wonderful you really are. At the risk of sounding secular, I'll quote a rock song from days gone by, "Your gonna go far"!! Stay the Course, remove all the walls in your life and allow those that LOVE you to come INTO your life!

DEVOTION: "And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more."(Genesis 37:5)

"And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more."(Genesis 37:5)

"And Joseph Dreamed"  Joseph's Dream cost him everything he had,  but it also gave him everything he ever wanted.  The night he had his dream he was a long way from the palace in Egypt. At that time he had no idea that he would wind up in Egypt in a palace, second only to Pharaoh Himself!!  His brothers hated him for his dream, sold him into slavery and lied to the family about what happened to him. He walked into Egypt in chains with bleeding ankles, tears running down his face, a broken heart and a long way from home. He was probably thinking about his baby brother, Benjamin, and who would watch after him, all the while wondering why his other brothers hated him so much. Do you think they hated him because they thought he was crazy or could they be concerned that his dreams WOULD come true!!! Unless you want to be lonely, don't dream big because most people  are filled with a negative view of the future rather than a big dream. Big Dreams could cause you to be hurt by brothers, attacked by those that can't control you and locked away to silence your dreams. Your dreams will find you wherever you go, they found Joseph in a prison in Egypt, they are inescapable. The Butler and the Baker had a dream, so did Pharaoh but was unable to find anyone who could give him the meaning of his dream. The Butler told Pharaoh that he knew a boy that could interpret dreams but he was a Hebrew and in prison. Pharaoh sent for Joseph and didn't really care who or what he was as long as he could interpret the Dream!! Instead of crying tears, bleeding from his chains and dreaming, he was exalted to the throne of Egypt. Destiny is a divine moving of the Almighty God to bring to pass all your Dreams, Visions and Hopes. Please don't allow the pits, prisons and pains of life to keep you from dreaming because they will only come true if you keep dreaming. Don't let anyone steal your dreams!!

DEVOTION: "The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead."(Proverbs 11:8)

"Delivered out of Trouble". From time to time we all face some kind of troubled circumstances or situations. It may be in your finances, you may get sick, it may involve your job or just everywhere you turn it seems like life is falling apart around you. Some of you that are reading this right this very instance are in some kind of trouble. The word "trouble" in this passage means anguish, adversity, distress, affliction and tribulation. Do any of these words remind you of where you are and what you are facing right now? The verse for today promises us that God will deliver the righteous out of trouble. The Apostle Paul refers to some trouble in his life that he had found himself in due to preaching the Gospel in some not so friendly places. "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;"(11 Corinthians 4:8-9). Even though Paul was facing some serious trouble, He kept his focus on God's ability to get him through. When I was 21 years old I was working in a welding shop in Houma, LA that repaired various pieces of equipment for oil rigs. It was the year I surrendered to preach the Gospel and my son Matthew was born. As a struggling new family we had, like many others, moved to the oil field to find work. I was a young welder and one night we got an emergency call from one of the rigs that we serviced; they needed us ASAP!! Something had gone wrong on the rig that could be a potentially dangerous situation on the rig. We loaded our tools and headed to Sabine Pass, TX at a high rate of speed to catch a helicopter to the rig. We arrived and a storm had come up unexpectedly but we had to get to the rig because it was in danger, possibly endangering the lives of the men on the rig. Our company finally found a boat that would try to get us to the rig. We had a job to do, so we took a deep breath and loaded our tools on the boat. It was a four hour ride in unbelievable circumstances, waves that looked like mountains coming at you and strong gusts of howling wind. Those of you that worked on oil rigs in those days know the danger of getting off a boat onto a rig in this kind of storm. But we had made our minds up to accomplish the mission. The men on the rig were in danger and they needed our unique skills to fix the problem. The Pilot of the boat that got us to the rig, the crane operator that snatched us off the boat deck in a storm safely and us welders all working together got the job done. The Kingdom of God is not a one man show but a group effort. Find your place in the church, keep moving, and you'll walk out of the trouble you are facing. Just keep moving in Faith!!

VIDEO: Dying By The Ark

DEVOTION: "Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few."(Ecclesiastes 5:2)

"Thy Mouth" The Bible has an endless amount of things to say about the words that come out of our mouth. The word "Rash" in it's Hebrew meaning in this text means "don't hastily sound the alarm", in other words, think before you speak. Solomon says that our words have life and death in them. "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."(Proverbs 18:21) A word spoken is a seed sown and a seed sown is going to produce fruit that you will have to eat. We call it eating "crow", eating a little crow is not too bad, but reaping a harvest of fruit from death words is going to be overwhelming. "But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison."(James 3:8) WOW!!!
We can actually poison ourselves and those around us by the words we speak. We must be very careful about what we say,our words create, because we are created in the image of our creator and He created the world by speaking!! "Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones."(Proverbs 16:24) We can actually speak healing into the lives of those around us by carefully choosing our words and by the same token we can destroy with our words. "A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness."(Proverbs 15:1-2). If some people really knew what they were saying and realized the chain reaction that they were setting off, surely they would just put their hand over their mouth. "And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business,"(Thessalonians 4:11a)
In other words, sometimes it's best to keep your mouth shut and mind your own business. It's amazing how much advise we can give to those around us that need help even though we have never"walked a mile in their shoes", it's best to just say " I don't have a clue but God's word is full of answers". You may say, "Pastor Scott, I don't know the Bible that well", I'm sure you know a preacher that can help you find the answers in God's Word. If one is not handy, just start reading in Proverbs chapter one, it's self explanatory. "There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health."(Proverbs 12:18). Don't cut your brothers and sisters with your sword but speak healing to them. PEACE and LOVE to ALL!!

DEVOTION: "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."(Matthew 5:4)

"They that Mourn". The word "mourn" means to grieve due to loss, most of the time, the loss of the life of a loved one. We are created in the image of God so therefore we love deeply and we are very connected to those in our family/friend circle. We are so much like our Creator that we are emotional over the pain and suffering of people we hear about that we don't even know personally. Unfortunately mourning the loss of loved ones is as much a part of life as life itself. As a Pastor, one of the things that goes with the calling of Ministry, is trying to comfort those that are mourning the loss of a loved one. From the standpoint of a Minister, it begins with a phone call, the news of an elderly person has passed but is in a better place, or someone that has poor health has had a heart attack and didn't make it. The worst possible phone call you can get as a Pastor is that someone in your church has lost a child. The sadness associated with the loss of a child is beyond my personal comprehension because I've personally never lost a child. Since I am a Pastor, I comfort people that go through all kind of hardships, tragedies and loss. My wife and I have two sons that have given us two wonderful daughter-n-loves and three angelic grandsons. We have never experienced such a horrific loss as that of a child, so to help us better comfort those that have lost children, we sat and talked with two families that had each suffered this horrific experience. The two senior citizen family's that we talked to, even though it has been many years since their loss could recant every detail. As we listened to their stories unfold we realized that all we could do to comfort those that loose children unexpectedly, is cry with them, pray with them, embrace them and let them feel our love. Mourning the loss of someone that you love more than life itself is a process that we can only get through with the mercy and grace of God. It is during these times that we, God's children, should stand so close to our friends that we can catch them if they fall. "Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy."(Matthew 5:7). The Mercy of God is what gets all of us through the dark days of life and if you live on this planet long enough, you will need mercy from God and your fellow citizens. When we find ourselves in these dark times, the more people we have around us the more strength we feel because there is strength in numbers. "Two are better than one; For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up."(Ecclesiastes 4:9a-10) If someone near you is hurting today, reach out your hand, you never know when you may need theirs. And may God protect us all in Jesus' name!!!

DEVOTION: “But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew.”(Exodus 1:12)

“But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew.”(Exodus 1:12)
“They multiplied and grew”. I’m glad the Bible is a sure Word of prophesy that describes my future. I’m thrilled about the fact that “If God be for us, who can be against us”. It doesn’t say that people won’t come against us or criticize us, it just won’t do them any good. In spite of whatever comes against us we will multiply and grow!! “The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.”(Deuteronomy 28:7) It really doesn’t matter who or what comes against you, it’s just a matter of time until you are delivered from whatever or whomever satan is using to annoy you. I find it amazing that the more this verse comes true in my life, the more the devil is annoyed. There are several things you can count on, one of them is human nature. Human nature is basically a fleshly religious system in itself. Adam and Eve were religious in their behavioral patterns and there was no religion, no churches, no preachers, etc… The one thing you can do that you won’t be forgiven for is be blessed and successful in your ministry, life or anything for that matter. People will forgive you for every sin in the book but don’t dare be successful at what you do. The more bricks the Israelites made, the more it disturbed the taskmasters of their bondage. God doesn’t want us to fail, He wants us to accomplish His purpose in the earth, which with His blessings we can. We the People of God are growing, multiplying and His Kingdom is spreading all over the world. God loved the world and gave His Son, Jesus Christ for it, He has plans for you. The more the prison system pressed down on God’s people in the book of Exodus, the more they expanded on the horizon. I would strongly suggest that you not afflict any one simply because you don’t understand them or because of your jealousy of them because the more you do, the more God will bless them. The afflictions of the taskmasters just caused God’s people to flourish, your criticism is just like throwing gas on a fire. God comes the aid of His Anointed and Blesses them whether you approve or not. “The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.”(Deuteronomy 28:8). DEVOTION: "A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him."(Proverbs 12:14)

"A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him."(Proverbs 12:14)
"Shall be Satisfied" What a promise!!! So, if you talk right and you work right, you will be satisfied. Satisfied means to "have plenty of", I'm liking this verse. Recompense means a "harvest or reward" which is to get way more than you gave, an overflow, an abundance of whatever it is you are believing for. We all have dreams that we should be talking in faith about and working toward, because God is pouring His Spirit out on all flesh. (Joel 2 & Acts 2) We are here, the last days, the outpouring of God's Latter Rain!! God is moving in a mighty way in the earth, I've seen it first hand. We are receiving written reports of blind eyes being healed and miracles of all kinds from our recent preaching tour in Asia. I was able to preach publicly to thousands in the open air, lay hands on thousands and no way to count how many came to Christ from their false gods. What an amazing God we serve, that can and will do the impossible!! There are reports that an average of 20,000 people a day get saved every 24 hours in China. To quote a great man, "I have a dream" that God will increase His moving in the earth and I'll be a part of that movement. Do you have a dream? What are you talking about? What are you working toward? I know, the last dream you had got squashed, but please don't stop dreaming! Just keep talking in faith, keep putting your hand to the plow and the verse for today will happen in your life. Just block everything out of your mind that destroys your faith. My wife, Kari M. Boatner, calls them "Faith Busters". Don't let your thoughts, fears, friends, family or anything mess with your faith. At all cost, keep your faith in good working order, your dreams will come to pass and you will be recompensed in the earth. May God Bless You as you passionately pursue your call from God.

DEVOTION: "Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God."(Colossians 4:12)

"Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God."(Colossians 4:12)

"Stand perfect and complete" What a wonderful place to be!! Epaphras was a praying servant of God that wanted to see the church established fully and maturely in the covenant will of God.   To "Stand" in this passage is to be established or continue, it's not just an emotional experience that fades away, but a journey to full maturity in Christ. God has great plans for His Church but for us to walk in His purpose to the fullest, we have to be complete in "all the will of God". The Greek definition of "will" is desire or pleasure. God desires that we accomplish His purpose in the earth and it is His pleasure to give us the Kingdom. God's Kingdom is a Spiritual Domain on this earth that we live on, we are in that Kingdom. If we could grasp the true spiritual power of being in the Spiritual Domain of God, completely and fully functioning in the desire of God for us, we could not be stopped. The Church is a powerful group of people that don't realize their potential, we have the resources, the power and the ability to enable one another around the world to accomplish every purpose of God! We are a powerful machine fueled by the generational blessings of God. We have the power to run our lives with Christian principles and the power to change the world. Let's realize who we are in Jesus Christ, continue in God's Desire for our life and it will lead us to full joy and power in the will of God. If you are fortunate enough to live in a Christian Nation or at least in an area that is dominated by Christians, give thanks to God. He has strategically placed you where you are for reason, find out what that purpose is and get it done. Our fellow Christians around the need us to rise up and be the church. Every three minutes somewhere in the world someone is martyred for the cause of Christ and countless thousands of our brothers and sisters are incarcerated and tortured because the believe in Jesus. Jesus died that we may be free from bondage and imprisonment of every kind. Come on Church, let's Rise up and Stand in the Will of God!!

DEVOTION: “But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.”(Genesis 50:20)

“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.”(Genesis 50:20)

“God meant it unto Good” On life’s journey, things happen that we can’t control. Sometime those things hurt, sometimes they just happen without notice, and without reason but sometimes people hurt us intentionally. Life hasn’t changed much since the days of Joseph; we still hurt when things happen to us regardless of the reason. We all have hurts and pain from our past, what’s done is done! It may have been 3 minutes or 30 years but we still remember the action that caused the pain. The question is, “How are we going to deal with that pain?” Do we carry the suitcase filled with painful things around so we can have them handy when we need to feel sorry for ourselves? We open and take them out for a peak? Do we lock the suitcase filled with pain and put it under the bed to collect dust? The verse for today is HUGE! It’s the OT version of - Rom 8:28 - “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
“And we know” is a huge statement of faith! If we did know, we wouldn’t have so many battles internally, emotionally, spiritually, etc… The truth is we don’t know that it was somehow “Good”, to know that bad will become “Good”, is a deep truth about Faith in God. We must believe, we must believe with every ounce of faith we have that God is for us and will work it all out. To have this kind of faith, you must love God and be called according to His purpose. Faith to know that no matter what has happened or is happening will work out for our “Good” and God’s Glory is a Faith that will carry you through anything. At the end of the day, we must train our spirit to believe that God is at work in our lives, no matter what is going on. According to Genesis, whatever Adam called the animals, they were and are still today. He called cows, cows, so they are cows. So take a look behind you, take a look around you, look down the road into your future and CALL IT GOOD. It will be whatever we call it, so let’s call it good. This is a journey of faith, but it is a good journey, that will lead to a good place. I’m on my way, please feel free to join me.

"But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain."(Titus 3:9)

"But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain."(Titus 3:9)

"Avoid" The word  "Avoid" in the Greek, means to walk around or be a bystander. As the Apostle Paul writes to Titus, he gives him a list of things to avoid because they are unprofitable and vain. The list of four things are very straight forward; (1) Foolish Questions - Some people will ask you anything that you will listen to, but the Praise The Lord, we are not required to listen.
(2) Genealogies - Some think they are SPECIAL because of their status, be that financial, social, family name, religious, race, geographical location and anything else they can dream up. "NOT". (3) Contentions - Some love to debate with anyone about anything, their emotional man feeds off strife and chaos. (4) Strivings about the Law - The Bible has been written by God, settled in heaven and doesn't change to suit our latest religious fad.  "For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven."(Psalm 119:89)  I'm sure the Apostle Paul would be amazed at some of the things taught today that are supposedly found in the Scriptures.  Although the Bible hasn't changed since Paul wrote to young Preacher, Titus, our world has changed immeasurably. For starters, our 7th billion citizen of planet earth was born recently in Asia. So now with the planet loaded to the gill with people, how in the world can we avoid the people that feed on the items listed by the Apostle Paul ? If you will take the time to read the entire book of Titus, Paul was trying to press it deeply into Titus's Spirit to stay focused on his purpose that was given him by God. If you will get in the Bible, get in a church that teaches the Bible, find your place in the Body of Christ, discover  your Spiritual Gifts and focus on your God-given purpose, these items will begin to bounce off you like water off a duck's back.  Let's face it, we are in a world filled with stress, strife and foolishness in abundance, but we have a Higher Calling from God to rise above all of this and fulfill our purpose. In short, find out who God wants you to be and be yourself. Your the only "YOU" that we have so be yourself.

"The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand. "(Proverbs 12:7)

"The wicked are overthrown,  and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand. "(Proverbs 12:7)

"The House of the Righteous". We are here to stay, so get used to it! Liberal mindsets usually lead nations down deadly paths by slowly acclimating people to seemingly little things. All of a sudden, one day, you wake up and here we are... As an American, I asked myself, "Where are we?" That all depends on which channel you watch. Personally, I quit watching the news and political talk shows because it was having a very negative affect on my faith. I was ready to get a shovel out of my shed, dig a hole and bury myself because I found myself looking at the TV and saying, "You did NOT just say that on TV in front of God and everybody"!!   My grandmother and mother both talked to their television sets, OMG, say it ain't so!! Yes I did start talking to the people in an electronic box that I've never met in my life on planet earth, Seriously!!  Now my Grandmother was of the soap opera generation, "As the world turns", but didn't have a clue what was going on on the planet. My Mother watched all the detective shows with headphones on in her bedroom while talking LOUDLY to the detective of her choice. At the times these things occurred, I respectfully thought they had lost it. Have you ever watched a ball game with a sports fan? I know several people that could fix America in just a jiffy if Fox News, CNN, etc.. would just take 5 and listen to them talk.  If you wonder why I play the volume on my radio and TV so loud, it's because I don't want you to know that I'm talking to them but guess what, THEY CAN'T HEAR US!!!  I know that's a shock to some of you but they can't hear us, we can only hear them. So if we are going to STAND we need to talk to people that can actually hear us like your children for instance, make sure they know how to live righteously and Godly in this present world.   "Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;"(Titus 2:12).  Please quit allowing people that don't know you, have never read the Bible and wouldn't even know how to get to work if the bus didn't take them, dictate your future. The Bible is very clear about the future of the Righteous, it's not a guessing game. Just Sayin..

"Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you."(Matthew 9:29)

"Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you."(Matthew 9:29)
"According to your Faith".  As we believe, we receive!! Let's lay aside all of our stress, our faith busters, our cares, our burdens and Trust Jesus to just take care of it all. "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."(1 Peter 5:7) Peter tells us to roll it all over on God because He cares about us and He can handle it. So whatever you are going through, whatever you have been trying to fix for weeks, months, maybe even years by now, just give it to God. He loves you enough to give His Son for you;  I promise you that He can handle whatever you need Him to handle.  "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?"(Romans 8:32) He really does care and He really will work it all out for His Glory and your good. In the verse for today, Jesus says that our results are based on our Faith. WOW, that's heavy stuff, but if you can get together a "mustard seed" of Faith, you can move a mountain.  "And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."(Matthew 17:20)
It only takes a "grain of mustard seed" faith to bring you instantly to a level with God that "nothing shall be impossible unto you". Life has some serious possibilities for us once we get Faith into our day to day. I know that God is speaking to someone right now that needs some mountains moved so you can get on with your life. Bro Scott, where do I get Faith? You get it from a book, a very inexpensive book, called the Bible. At some stores you can catch them on sale for less than ten dollars!!! Actually there are enough scriptures on this page to give you enough Faith to do the impossible.  "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."(Romans 10:17) Just make yourself Believe what you are reading and I think you'll be amazed at what God is about to do in your life.
