"To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man's line of things made ready to our hand."(2 Corinthians 10:16)

"To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man's line of things made ready to our hand."(2 Corinthians 10:16) "Regions Beyond" Today I embark on a journey to "regions beyond ", to the nation of India. A country with over a billion people crowded into a land area that is about the third of the size of The United States. It is a Hindu/Muslim nation with about 2% Christian population. It is a country that needs Jesus, the fields are white unto harvest. This opportunity has come to us via our Internet video ministry that is now in 90 countries. Over the past two years God's House, my wife Kari and myself have become the spiritual leadership of this growing group of Pastors. With God's help we have provided them with Bibles, enabled them to have crusades and start churches. Through these out reaches thousands have come to Jesus Christ and become part of the Kingdom of God. I, like the Apostle Paul did in the Bible, must go and visit the churches in "Regions Beyond". India is literally on the other side of the world, it's a third world country and I'll be preaching through a translator, just to mention a few of the obvious challenges. When God called Kari and I into the ministry, 30 years ago this year, we surrendered it all to do whatever He calls us to do. I'm aware of the potential hardships of this journey but the hardest part is leaving Kari at home. As most of you know we have traveled a lot over the thirty years of ministry and Kari has always gone with me. She has always ministered with me and leaving her home for this trip was a very difficult decision. We are both very emotional today and are very aware that if God doesn't help us we can't do this. We have been apart so little in our 30 years of marriage, two days of flying, not knowing what I will eat or where I will sleep is easy but missing her is going to be tough. "Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."(Matthew 16:24) Where He leads we will go, To God be the Glory!! "As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God."(Psalm 68:2)

"As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God."(Psalm 68:2) "The Presence of God". His Presence melts our enemies, it melts our fleshly desires and completely rearranges the way we see things. It seems for the last few days I've been caught up in His presence every morning for hours of worship. I am very aware that my life and ministry are entering a new season of service. He is preparing my heart for this new time that is approaching the Boatner Family and our Ministry Family. I am struggling to to write the daily devotions, the last couple of days they have been more like pages out of someone's personal journal. My life and ministry are very transparent, so have a look, we have nothing to hide, we just want you to see the Presence of God!!! He's pouring out His Spirit on us today so please join me in this time of Worship. I feel like Job, I have no words that can describe God's Presence; "Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth."(Job 40:4) If you do not know how to worship and enter into His presence, start with this: (1) Create an environment of worship-get alone (2) Turn on Praise/Worship music that moves your Spirit- Remember their is a difference between your spirit and soul (emotions) (3) Stay there till you feel God's presence- It could take minutes or hours. (4) Bro Scott, How will I know when He is here? Oh, You will know!! The reason that you will know is because you will literally feel His presence and all of the struggles in your life will begin to melt away. Unfortunately most church goers worship with their soul (emotions), they cry because they like a certain song sung by a certain person. Worship is much deeper, it's your inner Spirit, yes it may touch your emotions but true WORSHIP starts in your Spirit Man. We are created in the image of God, Tri-Part Being, body - soul - spirit. "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."(1 Thessalonians 5:23) Worship is a Spiritual encounter with God! "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."( John 4:24) He's waiting for you to come before Him with your Worship. "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him."(John 4:23) Be Advised, this is about to change your life forever! "The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel. Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary. "(Psalm 68:8-9)

"The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel. Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary. "(Psalm 68:8-9) "Confirm Thine Inheritance". God has blessed Kari and I to be involved in ministry for many years. We have various ministries, writing, preaching engagements, Digital Church Family in 90 countries that watch our ministry via the internet, mission projects and Senior Pastors at "God's House". The Sunday after Easter every year is called "The Blessing of The Children", a service in which we stand all of our young people and children around the interior walls of the Church, call each one by name, lay hands on each one, then pronounce redemption from the curse and proclaim Blessing over them in Jesus Name!! We've done this for years in churches where we are invited to preach special services and continue to do so, because we must change the next generation. Unfortunately our leaders in America or more concerned about their own agendas to destroy the American way of life or they have their hands in the cookie jar and could care less about your children. We the Church must take action and bring Hope to our children. I am going to India on April 23rd,travel time two days by plane for a ministry trip, to ordain 30 Pastors, teach at a Bible Conference and preach several nightly crusades where we anticipate thousands in attendance. As you know it's a Hindu/Muslim country, so please pray. We wanted to spend a couple days, just me and her alone, R&R time. So after "Blessing of the Children" , Kari and I got in our Motor Home, which is 10 yrs old and worn out, and headed south to Destin, Florida. Apparently the old gas in it was ruined so what was to be a 6 hour trip turned into a nightmare, got into bed at 4 am and felt horrible when awakened by a phone call. Yuck!!! So what to do?? Jesus said "Worship Me!!!" In goes the earplugs, Sean Feutch and "Awaken Love", then comes God's Presence. We've spent the day in His Presence looking out the window at waves crashing on the beach. You see, my worn out motor home has no effect on the "Waves of His Glory", His presence melts mountains as if they don't exist!! As Kari and I spent the day in His presence, we spoke no words, we just listened for His Voice. Just listen today, for God Speaks, we've said our prayers so let's just listen for a while and His Glory will confirm that we are His Inheritance !!! The seas are rough, learn to worship because sometimes its the only prayer you have.... Pastor Scott L. Boatner Please Share

"And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high."(Luke 24:49)

"And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high."(Luke 24:49) "endued with power". Heavenly Father, We come before Your Throne in the Name of Your Son Jesus!! As we stand in your presence, we wait for you to pour out the power of the Holy Ghost upon us that we may be enabled by you to fulfill your will in the earth. "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."(Acts 1:8). We are very aware that we have no power of our own, it comes from you. The power within us is the power of Your Spirit!!! "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,"(Ephesians 3:20). It is with your power within us that we stand upon the face of the earth and declare the Word of God over the nations. We say that the Righteous will rise and the wicked will fall!!! We declare that the wicked will be cut down as a blade of grass and the Righteous will rise above all that is evil. We shall not be ashamed in the day of evil because we overcome evil with good. We are empowered by the Holy Spirit to do the work of the Kingdom of Light in the earth. We are not defeated but we are more the conquerors through Christ Jesus and we will not raise the white flag of surrender. We are a chosen generation that is speaking the Word of God in the earth and it will not return void but will accomplish its purpose in our lives. We are the people of God, We will stay our course, we will pray our till Heaven comes down and invades America again!!! We are no longer hiding our heads in the sand but we are facing the fact that we need YOU in our country, our churches, our lives, our schools; WE NEED YOU, JESUS!!! PLEASE VISIT US TODAY!!!! "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;"(1Peter 1:13)

"Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;"(1Peter 1:13)

"hope to the end". According to the Apostle Peter there is no time that we should give up hope. The word "end" in this passage means finished or complete. So whatever you are waiting for or believing for, just keep on praying till you get the answer. "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"(Ephesians 6:18) "Perseverance" means to press on till it's done, don't stop believing God for an answer to your prayers. From Genesis to Revelation God's people always persevered till the job was done. So whatever you are fighting for, keep fighting, don't stop till the war is won. We are in a war against the spirit of darkness, not flesh and blood, but spiritual wickedness in high places. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."(Ephesians 6:12)
We do not need to tire in our service of God as we continue to expect Him to answer our prayers and fulfill our dreams. We must realize that serving God is a journey that is not complete till the coming of Christ. While on this journey we must remain faithful to believe the promises in the word. Peter says to "gird up the loins of our mind", in other words, keep your thoughts disciplined to stay focused on the task at hand. We must not give up on God's plans for our lives nor the lives of our children. I know it's not always easy, it's not always fun but we must continue our journey because it the path of life and peace. "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."(Galatians 6:9) "We shall reap", we have God's Word on it.

"In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge."(Proverbs 14:26)

"In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge."(Proverbs 14:26)

"A place of refuge" The word refuge in the Bible means a "shelter of hope", now that's good stuff, I don't care who you are!! It's really good because it flows down to our children. So once we start the flow by fearing God, we can expect it to happen in our children. When we as parents fear God, it has a major positive effect on our children's future. Our reverence of God give us a confident spirit that trickles down stream into our children who are our future. There is a massive group of people that will soon control our government, lead our churches , teach in our schools and be in complete charge of our future. This group of people that I'm referring to is our children. It is up to us what we put in their hearts that will make the difference in the type choices that they will make that will be the defining factor. What are we putting in them? What do they hear us discussing around the dinner table? They are smarter than you think and they absorb everything that spills over into their lives. What is our overflow? What are they soaking up when they are with us, what do they hear us say? Do they feel the fear of the Lord in our spirits which would produce confidence and hope. Our children are under so much stress at school, in sports, their clubs, etc... Hello, Mom and Dad, we must reverence the God we talk about on Sunday at church, EVERYDAY, so we create an environment of hope in their lives.
"And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up."(Deuteronomy 6:7) As the verse says, just fear God and you will have confidence that will give your children the edge they need to move forward through life. We are strong in the Lord and as we are, so are our children!

"Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD."(Psalm 31:24)

"Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD."(Psalm 31:24)

"Hope in the Lord". The word "Hope" in this passage means to wait patiently for something that you are trusting in God for. Where there is hope, there is life and anticipation. The word hope in the New Testament Greek means to expect or anticipate something from God. If you are so empty that all of your hope is gone then your heart is sick. A sick heart produces negative energy in your life that draws negative things into your zone or your space. "The hope of the righteous shall be gladness;"(Proverbs 10:28). Our hope brings us gladness but when we have no hope we are sick. "Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life."(Proverbs 13:12) If we walk around with a chip on our shoulder as if the world owes us something, that chip will draw things into your life that will continually knock if off your shoulder which will keep you in a negative state of mind!! You wonder why bad things never stop getting mailed to your address, you draw them to you with your attitude. Hope fulfilled brings a "Tree of Life", that bear fruit, fruit from the Holy Spirit will empower your life. Once you break the cycle of negativity off of you and start a new cycle of "faith, hope and love", GET READY because your life is about to change for the good. In this hopeless, negative world we live in, this is not an easy task but it can be done. Notice the words "strength" and "courage" in the verse above, it will take both. Ok, Bro Scott, I'm ready for a change, what's the first step? Read every verse in the Bible that has anything to do with hope, talk to God and get in a church that preaches HOPE. Stop the merry-go-round of despair and get on the "Path of Life", it starts right now with you wherever you are.

"For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."(Psalm 30:5)

"For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."(Psalm 30:5)

"Joy Cometh". A great promise in the Word of God!! We sometimes think that the weeping is going to last forever, but it is not. In this verse of scripture we see that in the favour of God is life, when we experience the favour of God in our life, we are blessed beyond measure. His favour goes before us and opens doors of opportunity for us that we never dreamed possible. It is His favour that stops the weeping, when the weeping stops, the night is over. If we believe that God has placed His favour on us then we also can believe that the night will soon be over. It is the hope of a better day that gives us the strength to keep believing for a better day. "Joy Cometh in the morning", is a promise that is full of Hope. In our human nature, hopelessness is a default, hope is a discipline. It is a discipline that we must exercise daily to press past the negativity of the moment. We are surrounded by the night, overwhelmed by the spirit of oppression but God's Word promises us that the night will soon be over and the day cometh. We must make ourselves believe that whatever we are facing right now is temporary and not a permanent fixture in our lives. It will pass and the Brightness of the Rising Son will shine into our lives again.
"But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall."(Malachi 4:2). We have a full, blessed life ahead of us, we just have believe for it. We must live in the future, not in the past, because our past cannot be changed but it can change us if we are not careful. We must not allow our yesterday's night to have an adverse affect on our today or tomorrow. When our future gets bigger in our heart than our past, it's then that faith begins to to bring us out of our past and into our future. We all have a future, the difference between the successes and the failures is, will you participate in yours so that the fullness of God can be manifested? If you don't participate by faith then it will control you instead of you controlling it. Does your tomorrow have joy in it or is it just a continued drama of yesterday? It your choice!!

"Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad."(Proverbs 12:25)

"Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad."(Proverbs 12:25)

"A Good Word". This verse says that "heaviness" (anxiety-sorrow-fear) will make your heart "stoop" which in the Hebrew means to depress. Anxiety caused by your circumstances or an environment that you feel like you are trapped will bring you down. On the outside you may look good but on the inside you are pressed down emotionally. Some of you that are reading this are broken in your spirit by some type of heaviness, a huge weight that never leaves you night and day. You've fought it, you've hid it, you've been to the Doctor, which may have helped for a season but you need this mountain to get off your back. It could be an event or relationship gone bad, from 20 years ago, but still fresh simply because you can't or won't let it go. So it has traveled from hurt to unforgiveness then onto bitterness. Your bitterness is like a pet that you carry around with you to remind you of how bad you've been treated. You wouldn't take anything for your pet that has become part of who you are, you wouldn't know how to act if you "LET IT GO"!!! The verse that we have cited says that what you need is a "good word" because that is God's ordained method of healing for heaviness. But when you hear a word of hope, you feel so sorry for yourself, because you love to feed your "feel sorry for yourself" addiction!! If all you ever hear is a negative, hopeless or condemning word then that's what you will become because what you listen to takes lodging in your mind. Jesus said be careful "what you hear" because the words that you are exposed to will have an effect on you. If they are positive words based on God's Word, then your Faith will be built with these words. If they are condescending words that press you down in your mind then, the more in hear, the farther down you will go. "And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given."(Mark 4:24) Have you ever considered changing your intake of information?? Change your friends, your church, your job, etc... Just get away from the people that feed your pet pain, so that they are not constantly soothing and feeding the "Pain of the Past.” It will die if you stop feeding it. Let it die so that YOU CAN LIVE.

"A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones."(Proverbs 17:22)

"A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones."(Proverbs 17:22)

"Dry Bones". Your bones are filled with marrow that creates life within you, without it you will die. If your spirit is broken due to some painful event in your past, it has become a part of who you are, it has defined you. It will change your personality, rob you of your joy and like a cancer, will consume your whole life. It will consume you to a point that you don't even remember the last time you truly had a merry heart. Sure you put on your smiley face when the kids do something funny or if you are in the ministry, you put on smiley church face for those you minister to, but what about you? So, forgive the person that hurt you, try to forget the experience, get the joy of Jesus in your life and let's get some happy back in our lives. "A merry heart doth good like a medicine", get you some merry medicine from JESUS because the joy of the Lord is our strength. (Nehiamiah 8:10) Bad things can creep into your life because you left the back door open to your past hurts, close the back door of your life and nail it shut for good. For Christ sake, for your sake, for your family's sake don't let the vacuum of the past drain you to the point that you have no future. In your mind, if your past is bigger than your future, then use forgiveness as a tool from God to put some distance between you and yesterday. Start living in the future by faith in Jesus Christ and the Hope that the Word of God gives.
"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."(Romans 10:17). If you will read the Bible, you will find out that your past has been dealt with at the Cross of Christ and your future is bright. "But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day."(Proverbs 4:18). You can't walk forward while constantly looking backward or you will constantly be stumbling over your past so you'll never get anywhere.
Life is a journey so do an about face on your past and let's get moving forward!

"A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken."(Proverbs 15:13)

"A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken."(Proverbs 15:13)

"Broken Spirits" If your spirit is broken, then it probably went something like this, someone that you thought loved you very much hurt you and just let it go: no I'm sorry, no please forgive me, no reconciliation of any kind. In some cases you are able to put some distance between you and that person. Unfortunately, in most cases you are trapped in a home or relationship that you can't escape so easily so you have to continue to live in the pain and that pain turns into a hurt that is beyond your human ability to forget or forgive. It is now a toxic memory that you've stored away deep within your spirit, but it still raises its ugly head when something reminds you of that deep hurt which is now bitterness that has wounded your spirit and it is breaking you down. Why waste your life for someone that obviously doesn't care about you? You are bearing a pain that they deposited in your life a long time ago, it's time to let it go and move on with your life. They may never even know that you forgave them but you will finally be free. If you don't it will start to have a negative effect on all of your relationships which is not worth the cost that you are paying to hold on to your anger, an anger that has produced a bitterness that will ultimately destroy you and those around you. "All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast."(Proverbs 15:15) Let's look at the Hebrew definition of two words and read the verse again. "All the days of the DEPRESSED are BAD", now that it's broken down for you, can you relate?
Don't spend all your days depressed with the evil spirit of Unforgiveness because of someone that was in your life years ago. I heard a preacher say one time that "yelling at depressed people doesn't help, go figure", well quit yelling at yourself, forgive the person, try to forget it and let's move on. The negative energy of unforgiveness in your life creates stress that is "bad things happening to good people". We've all heard the silly expression, "make like a tree and leave", today it's not just a silly expression. It's time to leave it where you stand and go forward with your life.

"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."(Ephesians 4:32)

"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."(Ephesians 4:32)

"forgiving one another". Once we are in the Family of God we are held to a higher standard than we were in our past. We are forgiven so therefore we are required to forgive those that have wronged us as Christ has forgiven us. I know you've been hurt real bad and real deep but to rid yourself of that pain, you will have to forgive those that have hurt you. It's going to be difficult, maybe even very emotional, but to be free and at peace it is a part of your daily forgiveness spoken about in this verse; "And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have alt against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses."(Mark 11:25) "When ye stand praying" refers to your daily forgiveness that we previously discussed. If these sins are not dealt with here on earth they will be dealt with at the Judgment Seat of Christ. "Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; "Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. "(1 Corinthians 3:12-13). If we as followers of Christ don't judge ourselves on a daily basis we will be judged before our Savior by the fire of His Glory. If we have good works they will be rewarded, our wood, hay and stubble shall be burned up by His Perfect Glory. "If any man's work abides which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."(1 Corinthians 3:14-15) So with that being said, we must forgive those that have hurt us and let it go or we will stand before God carrying the sin of unforgiveness in our hearts. Now the pain of hurt and the bitterness of holding things against others will destroy you, little by little. I know what I say to you is strong, straight forward and difficult but very needful to restore your inner man to complete peace. Unforgiveness turns to bitterness and bitterness will cause sorrow of heart which will break your spirit. A broken spirit is like a vacuum that always takes the joy and peace out of your life.

"Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots."(Luke 23:34)

"Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots."(Luke 23:34)

"Father, Forgive Them". While Jesus hung on the Cross, He asked God to forgive us. I've been studying the Bible for a long time and I can't quite understand why He did it. Sure I've read every verse in the Bible about His love and forgiveness but I still don't know why He chose to do such a thing. As Jesus hung on the Cross bleeding to death, He prayed for the liars that put Him there, the men that drove the nails and all of us that have been or ever will be. I will do my best to explain forgiveness to you, without it, you will never find peace. Forgiveness is as big as eternity and as practical as every breath we take. Eternal Forgiveness has to do with the day you met or will meet Jesus by Faith. When Jesus Christ becomes your Savior by believing what the Bible has to say about salvation, you are forgiven and nothing can change that eternal righteousness because it is secured "By the Blood of Jesus" at the Throne of God. "But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ."(Ephesians 2:13) The Blood of Jesus washes our sins away, as far as east from the west, which results in you being born again which means that your dead spirit has been made alive. "And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;"(Ephesians 2:13) We are new in Christ Jesus, never to be the same again, eternally forgiven! Bro Scott, what if I have committed sins since I met Jesus? "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."(1 John 2:1-2)
Please pay close attention to certain words like "My little children" and "ours", John is writing to born again believers that have committed sins since being saved and in this passage he explains how to deal with those sins. The peace of knowing that you have eternal forgiveness and can have daily forgiveness all at the same time is beyond my comprehension. If you don't know what I'm talking about then you need to call Jesus by name and ask Him to forgive you, He's waiting on you. It starts today, right now in this instant.
He's waiting on you to call His Name.
