DEVOTION: Matthew 5:4

"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."(Matthew 5:4)

"Today we Mourn". Once again our hearts ache with the pain of loss and sorrow! We mourn the loss of children because in an instant they were taken away from their families so needlessly.  They were sent to school, just like any other day, to learn, to be educated so they could grow up to be mature adults. As a parent, I can't even begin to imagine how the parents of those precious children must have felt when they heard the news of yet another "school shooting" and the waiting to hear that it was one of their very own that had been brutally murdered for no reason.  It is beyond my comprehension,  how someone could commit such an evil act against innocent children. As a Minister of The Gospel of Grace, I pray for God's Grace to help the families through this nightmare of terror!! The Apostle Paul spoke Grace and Peace to the churches he wrote to in the New Testament and we speak Grace and Peace to you today.  We pray that the promise of Jesus Christ to "comfort those that mourn" will come quickly into your hearts.  At the risk of sounding shallow or cliche, I'm sorry for the sudden and tragic loss of your sweet precious babies. One day soon, Jesus Christ will reign on earth in Righteousness and put an end to such evil. Our schools should be safe houses but in an instant they have become houses of terror. May God rid our schools of this insanity!!! Jesus, Please protect our babies!! Psalm 91

DEVOTION: "Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border."(Jeremiah 31:16-17

"Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.   And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border."(Jeremiah 31:16-17

"No more Tears". Jeremiah, a spokesman for God, declares that it is time we refrain from weeping and shedding tears. Since God created us in His own image, He knows that we are emotional beings and stopping the tears is not always the easiest thing to do. God is fully aware of our pain, grief, loss and every need that we have.  In order to help get us past the pain He gives us promises to motivate us to stop weeping over our past emotional traumas. We are promised that our "work shall be rewarded", so your life is not unnoticed but shall be honored by God! I know that many of you are overlooked for promotions, unnoticed by friends and completely left out by some people. God is not like man that He could lie but He is just, merciful and blesses us beyond measure. Jeremiah says to stop weeping, wipe your tears so you can see all the good things that God has in your future.   "The young lions do lack,  and suffer hunger:  but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing."(Psalm 34:10). Jeremiah goes on to tell us that we will be delivered from the enemy, that our future is full of hope and our children will not be lost but shall be blessed. If the enemy has held your children captive, it's time that they be released and within your borders so they can be blessed.   "The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children."(Psalm 115:14). According to God's word, our future is bright and blessed but in order to step into your future, you must be delivered from your past pain.  It would be impossible to fully see the blessings of God in your future if you are constantly wiping tears. Tears have a way of altering your vision because amidst the emotion, you get your future confused with your past. If you have been so wounded that you are in that condition, you will trade your future for your past if your not very careful how you process the hurt of yesterday. God wants to heal us from the pain of yesterday and propel us into the future. Today is very important, this real time present moment can change your life forever if you allow God into every room in your house. If you want tomorrow to be different than today then you will have to something different today than you did yesterday!!

DEVOTION: "For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling."(Psalm 116:8)

"For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling."(Psalm 116:8)

"Tears" Sometime we shed tears of joy but in the context of this verse, these are tears of sorrow. In this verse God promises to DELIVER us from the tears of sorrow!! If you are alive, on planet earth and breathing, you have shed tears of sorrow along the journey of life.  "How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?"(Psalm 13:2)   The Psalmist ask, "How long", Are you wondering how long this sorrow will last? He says that he has sorrow (grief) on a daily basis. After a tragic event of any kind, especially the death of a loved one, we have sorrow daily until we journey through the "valley of the shadow of death". Grieving is a journey that can have an end, a finish or a completion not forgetting but processing the sorrow. Regardless of the reason for your tears today, God is going to deliver you from that pain. It is not His will for you to live in sorrow but to walk in freedom and joy. If our enemy, satan, can keep you down and out over a hurt in your past then he can steal your future. If you live your life looking back at all of your pain, it will eventually destroy you and you will never fulfill God's purpose for your life.  "A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken."(Proverbs 15:13)  If you live in sorrow constantly, it will break your spirit and a broken spirit drieth the bones.  "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones."(Proverbs 17:22)  If you don't find deliverance from the tears of continual sorrow, it will destroy you. God has a plan for your life, a vision for you to fulfill for His Kingdom that will bring peace and joy to you. God's ultimate goal in all of our lives is to wipe away every tear!   "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."(Revelation  21:4)  We are on a journey, that sometimes involves the shedding of tears, but God doesn't want us to live in constant sorrow but to experience His deliverance. If you are crying today, cry out to God for His deliverance and He will wipe away every tear.

DEVOTION: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."(John 14:6)

"The Truth" A great man said, "Bury a lie and it will rot but bury the Truth and it will Rise"! God is moving in the earth and the momentum of the Latter Rain cannot be stopped because it is by divine design. There are politicians that bring about unjust laws in our land but God's Law is eternal and cannot be governed. There are religious people that try to hinder the work of the Holy Spirit but they too shall fail. "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves."(Matthew 23:15). Jesus is the King of Kings and The Lord of Lords, every knee shall bow and every mouth shall confess! "For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God."(Romans 14:11-12). The Truth will always rise to the top and every lie of the devil shall rot. You can't stop the movement of Jesus because He is the Way, The Truth and the Life! I'm told that between 20,000 and 30,000 people get saved in China every 24 hours. In India, just south of China in April I personal saw thousands get saved, healed and delivered. In the church that I Pastor, we are seeing our children come to Christ as the Holy Spirit draws them to Christ and are being Baptized!! The movement of God is too great and satan cannot stop it, you will just be run over by its power. "And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder."(Matthew 21:44) The Warriors of God cannot be stopped, take one down and 10 more will take his or her place. It's a good feeling to know that your team cannot be defeated!!! The Truth marches on to victory!!! I suggest you join the winning team today, by calling on Jesus!! He awaits your call....
