DEVOTION: "Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God."(Colossians 4:12)

"Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God."(Colossians 4:12)

"Stand perfect and complete" What a wonderful place to be!! Epaphras was a praying servant of God that wanted to see the church established fully and maturely in the covenant will of God.   To "Stand" in this passage is to be established or continue, it's not just an emotional experience that fades away, but a journey to full maturity in Christ. God has great plans for His Church but for us to walk in His purpose to the fullest, we have to be complete in "all the will of God". The Greek definition of "will" is desire or pleasure. God desires that we accomplish His purpose in the earth and it is His pleasure to give us the Kingdom. God's Kingdom is a Spiritual Domain on this earth that we live on, we are in that Kingdom. If we could grasp the true spiritual power of being in the Spiritual Domain of God, completely and fully functioning in the desire of God for us, we could not be stopped. The Church is a powerful group of people that don't realize their potential, we have the resources, the power and the ability to enable one another around the world to accomplish every purpose of God! We are a powerful machine fueled by the generational blessings of God. We have the power to run our lives with Christian principles and the power to change the world. Let's realize who we are in Jesus Christ, continue in God's Desire for our life and it will lead us to full joy and power in the will of God. If you are fortunate enough to live in a Christian Nation or at least in an area that is dominated by Christians, give thanks to God. He has strategically placed you where you are for reason, find out what that purpose is and get it done. Our fellow Christians around the need us to rise up and be the church. Every three minutes somewhere in the world someone is martyred for the cause of Christ and countless thousands of our brothers and sisters are incarcerated and tortured because the believe in Jesus. Jesus died that we may be free from bondage and imprisonment of every kind. Come on Church, let's Rise up and Stand in the Will of God!!
