"For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."(Psalm 30:5)

"For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."(Psalm 30:5)

"Joy Cometh". A great promise in the Word of God!! We sometimes think that the weeping is going to last forever, but it is not. In this verse of scripture we see that in the favour of God is life, when we experience the favour of God in our life, we are blessed beyond measure. His favour goes before us and opens doors of opportunity for us that we never dreamed possible. It is His favour that stops the weeping, when the weeping stops, the night is over. If we believe that God has placed His favour on us then we also can believe that the night will soon be over. It is the hope of a better day that gives us the strength to keep believing for a better day. "Joy Cometh in the morning", is a promise that is full of Hope. In our human nature, hopelessness is a default, hope is a discipline. It is a discipline that we must exercise daily to press past the negativity of the moment. We are surrounded by the night, overwhelmed by the spirit of oppression but God's Word promises us that the night will soon be over and the day cometh. We must make ourselves believe that whatever we are facing right now is temporary and not a permanent fixture in our lives. It will pass and the Brightness of the Rising Son will shine into our lives again.
"But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall."(Malachi 4:2). We have a full, blessed life ahead of us, we just have believe for it. We must live in the future, not in the past, because our past cannot be changed but it can change us if we are not careful. We must not allow our yesterday's night to have an adverse affect on our today or tomorrow. When our future gets bigger in our heart than our past, it's then that faith begins to to bring us out of our past and into our future. We all have a future, the difference between the successes and the failures is, will you participate in yours so that the fullness of God can be manifested? If you don't participate by faith then it will control you instead of you controlling it. Does your tomorrow have joy in it or is it just a continued drama of yesterday? It your choice!!
